Niğde, which is an agricultural city, ranks 6th in terms of agricultural production value per capita (TRY 10,815) according to the data of TURKSTAT 2018. Irrigated agriculture is carried out in 44.63% of the agricultural areas in our city. In terms of production amount, the province is;

The ovine animal number in our province is 577,194 and most of the breeding is in our central district. There are 6 egg enterprises in the province. The production is made with 682,762 chickens, and the annual egg production is approximately 95,000,000. There are 2 broiler enterprises operating with 400,400 chickens.
